Prospect Training Services (Gloucester) Ltd has delivered training programmes and courses in Gloucestershire for more than a decade, funded by the Learning Skills Council (LSC), European Social Fund (ESF), Local Authority, County Council, Job Centre Plus and the private sector, covering age groups from 14-65+ and have helped more than 12,000 individuals to retrain and find employment. We have 6 training centres across Gloucestershire delivering a variety of different sector skills such as Building/Construction Skills, Childcare, Health & Social Care, Parenting, Hair & Beauty, Warehousing , Forklift, CSCS Cards, Basic Skills, Health and Safety, IT, Job search, CV prep and bespoke Management Training. Many courses are free or heavily subsidised ,for example, Free* Forklift Training to Employed or Unemployed clients. We have a Skills for Life and CSCS test centre. We also hold accreditation from the following awarding bodies: OCR, ENTO, City & Guilds, BCS (British Computer Society, ‘A’ grade for 5 consecutive years) NCFE, EDI, Edexcel, OCNW, CIEH (Chartered Institute of Environmental Health), ITSSAR and C Skills (CITB). Prospect Training Services are the originators and national delivery body for the highly successful Young Mums to Be (YMTB) and Parents with Prospects (PWP) which are marketed and managed through our not for profit organisation The Nationwide Community Learning Partnership (NCLP).
Prospect Training Services are currently the lead provider for the Young Parents and Parents to Be programme for the South West region, managing over 30 children’s centres, local training providers and colleges across Devon, Dorset, Cornwall and Gloucestershire. We are also lead provider of the Countywide ReEngage programme designed to address the needs of 16-19 year olds who are not in education employment or training (NEET).
Our latest contract is to run the Gateway programme on behalf of Gloucester Works as part of the new City Employment Skills Plan.
