Building Skills
A fully practical hands on Building Skills Training Centre, purpose built by our own learners.
What’s It All About?
This course lets you try lots of different building skills as well as maybe getting your forklift licence. The course can run for up to 22 weeks and you will need to attend at least 16 hours a week. This is a good chance for you to learn new skills, make new friends and move forward in your life.
What will you be doing?
• Plastering
• Plumbing
• Tiling
• Brick/block laying
• Painting and decorating
• Wood working skills
• Safe use of tools and equipment
• Get your CSCS card to be able to work on-site
• Use your skills on real-life projects
• Nationally Accredited Forklift Licence for both Counterbalance and Reach
